Thomas Patrick 'Tom' Fitzwilliam, 49, of Mason, died at 10:35 a.m., Friday, March 1, 2013 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital, Terre Haute, IN.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont with Rev. Dr. Lowell L.  Donnelley officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Altamont. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Tom was born on Saturday, September 28, 1963 in Vandalia, IL to Thomas and Lauda (Berg) Fitzwilliam. He married Joan Boone on April 21, 1984 at the Mason Christian Church. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local #841, Terre Haute, owned his own construction business and was the West Township Road Commissioner.

He is survived by his wife, Joan and son Ethan Fitzwilliam both of Mason, and father, Tom Fitzwilliam of St. Elmo.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother, Lauda Fitzwilliam.
